Confusion broke out on Saturday during the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) state congress in Taraba after two different individuals were announced as the party’s consensus chairman, leaving delegates and supporters divided.
The situation reportedly started when a member of the congress committee declared Dr. Victor Samuel Falack as the consensus chairman of the party in the state. Delegates present at the venue welcomed the announcement with applause, believing the selection process had been concluded.
