Omoyele Sowore, activist and presidential candidate of the African Action Congress (AAC) in the 2023 election, has stated that he once confronted former Lagos State governor Babatunde Raji Fashola over inequality in the state.
In an interview with GLITCH AFRICA STUDIOS, Sowore explained that although Fashola was celebrated as a star governor, he felt compelled to challenge the narrative. He said at the time, he was running Sahara Reporters and observed that Lagos remained sharply divided despite the praise showered on the governor.
