Isaac Fayose has criticised his elder brother, Ayo Fayose, over his political stance in the ongoing crisis within the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
Speaking during an interview on News Central TV, Isaac accused his brother of supporting Nyesom Wike for personal benefit rather than party unity. He suggested that despite Ayo Fayose’s experience as a two-term governor and his long history in Nigerian politics, his actions now appear to be driven by self-interest.
Isaac also pointed to political developments involving their families, noting that Ayo Fayose’s son is currently contesting a position under a different political party. He claimed this reflects a wider pattern of divided loyalties among key figures.
In addition, he accused both Ayo Fayose and Wike of contributing to the weakening of the PDP by aligning with interests outside the party. According to him, their actions risk damaging the party’s chances and creating confusion among supporters.
