The Practitioners of Content Creators, Skit-Makers and Influencers Guild of Nigeria (PCCSIGN) has issued an official statement regarding a circulating petition involving popular content creator Mukoro Eremenna Michelle, widely known as King Mitchy.
The statement was shared on Instagram through the guild’s verified page, @pccsign, where the organisation addressed public concerns about the well-being of the influencer.
According to PCCSIGN, King Mitchy is currently under the guild’s support and care framework. The organisation stated that it has taken responsible steps to ensure she receives appropriate medical attention, emotional support and professional guidance during this period.
The guild explained that the content creator has been dealing with serious health and emotional challenges in recent weeks, noting that protecting the welfare, dignity and safety of its members remain a top priority.
PCCSIGN also acknowledged the petition reportedly submitted to authorities by a third-party organisation. While recognising the right of individuals and groups to raise concerns through lawful channels, the guild stressed that matters involving health and personal well-being should be handled with sensitivity and responsibility.
The organisation further urged the public, media platforms and concerned bodies to avoid speculation, harassment or intrusive actions that may worsen the situation.
PCCSIGN added that King Mitchy remains a valued member of Nigeria’s creative industry and expressed confidence that she will recover positively and return to her professional activities.
