This was contained in a post that Hadiza Isma El-Rufai shared on her official X handle on Sunday, March 8, 2026.
This is coming after the Special Adviser to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on Policy Communication used the analogy during an interview with Al Jazeera interviewer, Mehdi Hasan.
In the post that Hadiza Isma El-Rufai shared on her page, she said people should learn to speak good English. She said it is wrong to say “this is a water”. Hadiza Isma El-Rufai said the right thing to say is “this is a glass of water”.
