Report: US Forces Responsible for Deadly Strike That Killed 165 Children in Iran

US military investigation revealed that it is likely that the American forces were responsible for an attack on an elementary school in Iran’s Tehran that reportedly killed 165 children on Saturday, March 1, news agency Reuters reported. However, the investigation has not reached a conclusion yet, two US officials told Reuters.

US Defence Secretary Pete Hegseth on Wednesday said that the US military was investigating the attack on Iran school. The officials who spoke to news agency Reuters, who spoke on condition of anonymity to discuss sensitive military matters, did not rule out the possibility that new evidence could emerge that absolves the U.S. of responsibility and points to another responsible party in the incident.

The elementary school girls in Mianb area of Iran were struck by a missile during US-Israel aggression against Iran. Iran’s ambassador to the UN in Geneva, Ali Bahreini, said the strike killed 150 students.
