Manchester United midfielder Mason Mount remains focused on rebuilding his career at Old Trafford despite growing transfer interest from other Premier League clubs.
According to Goal.com, the England international has no plans to force a move away from Manchester United this summer. Mount is reportedly determined to prove his value to the club after a difficult spell largely affected by injuries since his arrival from Chelsea in 2023.
The 27-year-old joined United with high expectations, but recurring fitness problems have limited his impact. Mount has struggled for consistent playing time and is still working to rediscover the form that made him one of Chelsea’s key players before his move.
Despite the challenges, the midfielder is said to be concentrating on regaining full fitness and contributing to the team before the end of the current season. According to Goal.com, Mount believes he still has a lot to offer the club and wants to justify the significant investment made to sign him.
Reports have also linked Aston Villa and Fulham with a possible move for the midfielder ahead of the summer transfer window. Both clubs are believed to be monitoring his situation as they look to strengthen their squads.
However, Mount is reportedly keen to remain at Manchester United and compete for a regular place in the team rather than seek a move elsewhere.
His time at the club has so far been disrupted by injuries, with the midfielder making limited appearances in recent seasons. In the current campaign, he has featured in only a handful of Premier League matches.
Mount is now focused on recovering fully and returning to action as Manchester United continue their push in the league during the final months of the season.
