Shea Lacey has been tipped for a bright future after being compared to Lamine Yamal by former academy team-mate James Nolan.
Nolan, who previously captained Manchester United’s youth side, revealed that he has played alongside Lacey and also faced Yamal during a youth match. Based on those experiences, he believes the young United winger has the qualities needed to reach the highest level in football.
Speaking about his first encounter with Yamal, Nolan recalled being surprised by the Spanish star’s ability at such a young age. He explained that Yamal, then just 13, came off the bench and scored two impressive long-range goals within minutes, leaving a lasting impression.
