The First Lady of Nigeria, Remi Tinubu has called out Nigerians who are fond of insulting Nigerian leaders.
This statement was contained in a report that was published on the official X handle of ARISE NEWS on Sunday, February 8, 2026.
This is coming after the First Lady attended an event in the United State of America. It would be recalled that the President of the United State of America, Donald Trump described the First Lady as a respected woman at the event.
In the report that surfaced online, Remi Tinubu stated that many Nigerian leaders are respected outside the country but insulted at home.
She said some Nigerians seizes every opportunity to ridicule their leaders which is very bad. The First Lady urged Nigerians to come together and support all respected leaders in the country.

“They bully these leaders, speak ill of them, demean them, curse them and even seize upon their mistakes to drag them across social media, ridiculing and mocking them publicly”.
