In a recent interview on DRM News, Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian addressed the ongoing tensions involving Iran, the United States, and Israel, speaking about the responsibilities of his administration during the conflict and the government’s commitment to the Iranian people.
During the interview, Pezeshkian declared, “We will not fail. We are the servants of our people, and we will stop causing problems for them.” He emphasized that despite the pressures of war and international tensions, his government remains focused on protecting citizens and ensuring stability within the country. According to him, the priority of every ministry and state institution is to work tirelessly in the service of the nation.
The Iranian president explained that the current situation has placed significant demands on the country’s leadership, especially as military and political challenges continue. He noted that Iran’s armed forces have been acting in defense of national sovereignty and territorial integrity, while the government simultaneously seeks to reduce hardship for civilians. Pezeshkian reassured citizens that authorities are coordinating efforts to manage the impact of the conflict and maintain essential services.
He further highlighted the importance of unity, urging the public to remain patient and supportive of national efforts during this period. The president stressed that government officials are determined to prevent unnecessary difficulties for the population and to ensure that decisions taken at the highest levels are guided by the interests of the people.
