A Nigerian graduate has expressed frustration over the financial burden associated with participating in the National Youth Service Corps.
In an emotional video shared on social media, the young woman explained that she is under pressure from her parents to proceed with the mandatory national service despite struggling to afford the necessary registration and living expenses.
She revealed that the online registration alone costs about ₦15,000 and questioned how she was expected to raise the money without support.
