A prominent Christian leader from Plateau State has publicly criticised Nigeria’s National Security Adviser, accusing him of diverting United States military assistance away from areas experiencing severe violence in the Middle Belt.
The cleric, Reverend Ezekiel Dachomo, who serves as the Barkin Ladi Regional Chairman of the Church of Christ in Nations, voiced his concerns during a video message released on Friday. In the address, he accused National Security Adviser Nuhu Ribadu of influencing the deployment of American military personnel and assets to northern states instead of Plateau, where he said Christian communities have been facing persistent attacks.
