According to a report by Daily Trust News, on Saturday, March 14,Yakubu Gowon, former Head of State, on Saturday said President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is doing his best to promote the socio-economic development of Nigeria.
Gowon made the statement at the Presidential Villa in Abuja after a closed-door meeting with the President.
The visit focused on national issues, including economic progress, governance, and security challenges facing the country.
The elder statesman also used the opportunity to acknowledge the administration’s ongoing efforts across different sectors of the economy.
