Although people can get yeast infections without making love, they may be more prone to them because of hormonal changes related to the menstrual cycle.
Additionally, having s£x while menstruating can irritate the head of the male private organ and transmit yeast infections. This disorder is known as balanitis.
The only way to stop STIs is to use barrier methods like condoms or dental dams. When followed correctly, these precautions can significantly reduce the risk of infection, but they cannot ensure that a person won’t contract an infection.
It is still feasible to engage in s£xual activity when having a period. The fact that women can still become pregnant or contract STDs while they are on their period must always be kept in mind.
