Apostle Chibuzor Chinyere is the founder and general overseer of Omega Power Ministries (OPM) which have its headquarters in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, Nigeria.
He was recently given a traditional title as the Ihie 1 of Ikwuorie autonomous community in Ohanku Ndoki Ukwa East Local Government Area of Abia State.
The Governor of the state, Alex Otti handed over the staff of office to him.

Apostle Dr. Chibuzor Gift Chinyere was born on October 22nd 1973 into the family of late Mr. and Mrs. Chinyere Nwankwo of Ohanku village in Ndoki, in Ukwa East Local Government Area of Abia State, Nigeria.
He attended Seabird Nursery School in Port Harcourt, Rivers state.
Shortly after that, he had his primary education at the army children school in Port Harcourt where he obtained his first school leaving certificate.

He later went to Government Technical College but due to financial constraints, he dropped out.
Chibuzor began fending for himself at a young age, he left Port Harcourt for Lagos State in search of greener pastures.
At lagos, he slept under the bridge until he could secure a job as a cleaner with the Murtala Muhammed International Airport.
He also worked as a security guard and sold GSM recharge cards to survive.
Before he began his ministry, he was a member of the Jehovah Witness religious sect, but he decided to switch his faith after encountering with God.
He later joined the mountain of fire ministry where he was baptized and became a house fellowship teacher.
He left the Mountain of Fire Ministry and became a freelance preacher of the gospel.
Four years later, through the inspiration of God, he founded the Omega Power Ministries popularly known as (OPM), where he became the Apostle and General Overseer of the church.
Apostle Chinyere is married to Nkechi Juliet Chinyere and the marriage is blessed with a daughter, Princess Juliet Chibuzor Chinyere.
Apostle Chinyere is widely known for his philanthropic efforts and commitment to social change, he has made significant impacts on the lives of many through his ministry and charitable initiatives.
Some of these acts includes;
Funding of more than 3000 young people on scholarships in Europe, Asia, North America and other parts of the world.
Empowering the underprivileged through training, almsgiving, and recuperation.
Establishment of a Free Computer Training Center at Elele prisons.
Numerous prisoners, including prison guards, received degrees from the program.
Establishment of a free tailoring training facility in Rumuji Town, Emuoha LGA, Rivers State.
Provision of water for the inhabitants of Rumuji and other communities in Nigeria to solve the issue of water scarcity in the region.
Donating a house, a car, and a restaurant to the family of Deborah Samuel, the female student who was murdered by a mob in Sokoto State for blasphemy.
He also gave a helpless actor Kenneth Aguba a house.
In recognition of his humanitarian work, Apostle Chibuzor has received both national and local honours from prestigious institutions and groups, including;
An honorary doctorate in theology from Philadelphia, USA’s Freedom University and Theological Seminary.
Honorary degree in illusions and evangelism from the School of Ministry and Mentor Academy in Houston, Texas, United States.
A Golden Award from the National Association of Nigeria Students in September 2012 for his exceptional philanthropic work.
He also received the 2013 Fearless Preacher of the Year Award from The GoodNews Magazine.
He was given the Inter-Religious and International Federation for World Peace’s Ambassador for the Peach Award.
He was recently conferred with the traditional title as the Ihie 1 of Ikwuorie autonomous community in Ohanku Ndoki Ukwa East Local Government Area of Abia State.
The pastor turned-king sees this as an opportunity to give his best to God and his community.
He also dedicated his throne to God where and asked the congregation to pray for him.
