All the suspects have been documented as residents of Kwabura village, Hawal Local Government Area of ​​Borno State.

“Investigations so far reveal that the suspects boarded the three-wheeler as passengers to a particular location, around Viniklang, Girei Local Government Area. Upon reaching Jimeta Bridge, the suspects exerted force on the tricycle and threatened it with dangerous weapons,” police explained.

It added that the suspects pushed the victim out of the tricycle and drove away with it.

“A quick response from the Jimeta Division patrol team led to the arrest of these suspects and the recovery of the three-wheeler. The Commissioner of Police, CP Dankombo Morris, assured that the suspects will be charged in court for criminal conspiracy and armed robbery upon completion of investigations,” police said.
