The preacher revealed the challenges he faced in his marriage, where his wife dominated him. According to him, he washed her clothes, scrubbed her utensils, and tended to her needs.
Despite enduring verbal and physical abuse, he never questioned her authority, attributing his wife’s behaviour to witchcraft. One day, his wife brought a man into their house. For the first time, he confronted her, but she slapped him and ordered him to sleep outside the house.
‘Women ruined my life because most of the women I had were using witches. One used to beat me, and I would wash her clothes and utensils for her. True story. She would even bring a man into our house, and I would see them; it was normal. I wasn’t getting upset.’
‘One day, I questioned her; she slapped me on the face packed my clothes and ordered me to go outside. I slept outside the door. I didn’t go far. She even commanded me not to go far.
