As if that was not enough they also raped him. He was born in a family of two as the last born. His mother passed away when he was only 7. His dad didn’t remarry and raised them single-handedly.

According to Don his dad was a carpenter and was also a minister of the gospel who was determined to change young people in Dandora estate. He aimed to preach to them to stop their bad ways of using drugs and turning to Christ.

Without knowing that he was getting himself in trouble he would work in the morning and go to preach in the streets in the afternoons. He stated that the drug addicts sometimes would beat him up but his determination to change them won’t stop him.

The gangs would threaten him but he didn’t take them seriously. On that fateful day, Don had left home for work only to be called by a neighbour who asked him to return home immediately claiming that the situation at home was not good.

Upon arrival, he found some believers in the house while his father was in the bedroom. They explained to him that his father was raped by the gang and had taken him to the hospital.

He didn’t expect such a thing to happen which left him depressed. His dad was not able to identify them since they had masks. The case was reported but they used to receive threatening messages to drop the case but officers would assure them that they were mere threats.

One evening, they heard a knock at the door upon opening a gang of 8 men who were armed with crude weapons pushed him back and got inside the house. They claimed that they had gone to finish the job they raped his dad in turns to his death.
