Speaking to Legit.ng, the teacher who teaches history and CRE said she got into the teaching profession due to the inspiration she received from her former high school teacher, who also taught the same subjects.
“That teacher was very close with her students, and she inspired me to make an impact on young girls just as she did on me. I thus have fun with my students, for the most part of it. Undeniably, there are times when I must put on a serious face,” she added.
Wothaya, whose videos have been getting significant traction on the social media app, says she learned that making videos with her learners has been making learning fun.
“I realised making lessons fun makes the students develop a positive attitude towards the subject and also motivates them to read,” she added.
Her recent video,which amused many social media users, showed her listening to music as she administered an examination. Most of her clips have raked in millions of views.
Tabby also engages in TikTok challenges with her children, and she has consequently become a darling among many netizens.
