Speaking at the launch of two books by former Nigerian Ambassador to Russia, Professor Abdullahi Shehu, Shettima emphasized the President’s focus on enhancing national security as a top priority.

The Vice President, represented by his Special Adviser on General Duties, Dr Aliyu Modibbo Umar, highlighted the alarming threat posed by terrorist organizations like Boko Haram and stressed the importance of empirical research in informing policy reforms and driving national development.

He underscored the need for Nigeria to confront these challenges head-on and chart a course towards a more secure and prosperous future.
