Oluwatade spoke in Benin City while delivering a lecture titled, “Advocacy for Restructuring Nigeria to Eight (8) Regional Parliamentary System”.

He said Nigeria can only survive and make progress under a regional government, advocating the restructuring of Nigeria presidential system to eight (8) regional Parliamentary System for minimal cost in governance and to miximize Nigeria’s huge naturals and human recourses for the good of every Nigerian.

Oluwatade decried the huge amount spent on the country’s electioneering processes saying that with such huge amount spent on elections a country like Nigeria that is import dependent will not survive, as much are spent on elections than putting up infrastructure that will trigger developments.

The cleric advised President Bola Tinubu to as a matter of urgency begin the process of returning Nigeria to Parliamentary System of government, where he , President Tinubu will become the Prime Minister as head of the premiers of the composing eight regions.

He also tasked the Senate President, Senator Goodwill Akpabio , the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Hon Tajudden Abbas and all members of the National Assembly to as a matter of fact save the country from total collapse and start the process of midwifing a new Nigeria.
