A 26-year-old Ebonyi State Lady, Chinaza Nwaezere who while battling with goitre aliment was forced into prostitution has recounted a disturbing incident where a man stole money amounting to N25,000 from her while she was asleep after initially paying her for services rendered.CONTINUE READING>>>>>

Despite the challenges, she acknowledged that some clients show kindness by giving her money without sleeping with her. She mphasized the prevalent hardships among women in the prostitution industry, noting that none of them willingly chose this path. She expressed gratitude for still being alive despite the dangers inherent in the profession and expressed a strong desire to leave it behind.

The 26-year-old Ebonyi State Indigene said few days after her 25th birthday, she noticed a growth around her neck region. Thinking it was a case of sore throat, she went to a pharmacy and got a few medications but nothing changed.
When the situation got worse, she said she was advised to visit a clinic, where she was told that she had a severe case of thyroid enlargement, also known as Goitre, and would need urgent surgery. Chinaza lamented that she had wanted to be a business owner but fate had other plans. According to her, selling her body for money was the last thing she ever thought to do.

She said in an interview with Punch, ”One particular day, a guy carried me and paid me 25,000, while I was
sleeping he stole the money from my purse. So, he slept with me and still stole from me. Some will even beat you and collect the money back. The street is a mixed breed. You will meet good people and bad people.

Some people will just give me money and leave the hotel room for me. They will not even touch me. Most of the girls doing this prostitution work have stories to tell. None of them likes what they are doing. They have killed many girls on these streets, and many have gone missing but God is still keeping me alive. God knows I want to stop it.
