Ondo APC guber crisis: Jimoh Ibrahim approaches court with three SANs, insists Aiyedatiwa did not win primary

One of the aspirants, Senator Jimoh Ibrahim (Ondo South), has approached a Federal High Court in Abuja to nullify the primary that produced Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa as the flagbearer.

Aside Aiyedatiwa, other aspirants, during a meeting in Abuja, told the National Chairman, Abdullahi Ganduje, that there was no election at all and the exercise should be cancelled.

Before approaching the court, Ibrahim had submitted “tonnes of documents with overwhelming evidence” to APC Headquarters in Abuja, citing irregularities during the primary and calling for outright cancellation of the exercise.

Ibrahim has hired three Seniors Advocates of Nigeria (SANs) and five other lawyers against the party, the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) and Aiyedatiwa.
