Despite the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) yet to announce the technical team who will work with the former Enyimba boss following his appointment on April 29, many have tipped the former Lille shot stopper as a potential goalkeeper’s trainer for the team as the announcement of the backroom staff looms.

Emmanuel Amunike, Daniel Amokachi, Michael Nsien, and other former internationals have all been rumored as candidates for the assistant coach role.

Speaking on the development, Enyeama declared that he is ready to take up the role if the Nigeria Football Federation contacts him.

“The truth is that nobody from the [NFF] has told me anything, and that’s why I am confused with the aspect that I have not responded. They have my contacts, so I believe they would contact me directly if it’s true and not the media.
