Bashir El-Rufai, the son of the former governor of Kaduna state, Mallam Nasir El-Rufai has stated that he is in support of the Obi-Kwankwaso presidential ticket.
This statement was contained in a post that he shared on his official X account on April 29, 2026.
This is coming after a campaign poster pairing the former governor of Anambra state, Peter Obi and the former governor of Kano state, Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso surfaced online.
In the post that Bashir El-Rufai shared on his official X handle, he said the alliance between the former governor of Anambra state and the former governor of Kano state will help the country to overcome its shortcomings.
Bashir El-Rufai also stated that the South should be allowed to complete its eight years.

“Just incase there is any ambiguity let me state clearly, I personally am for an OK presidential ticket. That alliance, forged with back door dealings and clear cut responsibilities will go a long way in salvaging the country from this current quagmire”.
