A legal practitioner and political commentator, Daniel Bwala, has accused former Labour Party presidential candidate, Peter Obi, of lacking democratic credentials in a statement shared on social media. Bwala made the remarks on May 6, 2026, via his X (formerly Twitter) handle, where he alleged that Obi had never participated in a primary election and suggested that his political conduct reflects an aversion to internal democratic processes.
