BREAKING: Bauchi Police Arrest Four Men As ‘Wife Exchange Arrangement’ Allegation Sparks Public Disturbance

According to a report by Daily Post on Wednesday, May 13, 2026, The Bauchi State Police Command has arrested four men in Azare, Katagum Local Government Area, over allegations of criminal conspiracy, adultery, and conduct likely to cause public disturbance. According to a security report by Zagazola Makama, the suspects were taken into custody at the Azare Division following their handover by the Zonal Commander of Hisbah in Katagum Zone, Mallam Rilwan Khairan.
