Former presidential candidate, Peter Obi, has slammed the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) over the disruption of service at the University of Uyo Teaching Hospital in an attempt to arrest a surgeon, Professor Eyo Ekpe.
Naija News reports that Peter Obi, in a statement titled, ‘Teargas in a Hospital, a Thoughtless Act’ shared on his handle on Thursday, expressed dismay over the action of the EFCC.
Peter Obi stated that the disorderliness demonstrated by the EFCC operatives at the hospital must not be encouraged, stressing that nothing justifies the use of teargas canisters in a fragile hospital environment..CONTINUE FULL READING>>>
