A number of people on social media have turned to their official X account in order to express their opinions over the road that Siminalayi Fubara is building in the state of Rivers. On May 22, 2026, the governor of Rivers state posted photographs of the road. These photographs were uploaded to his official X account. There were photographs that were uploaded to the internet that showed Siminalayi Fubara and a few of his assistants doing an inspection of the project.
As soon as the images were uploaded to the internet, the governor of Rivers state announced that he had visited the ongoing Ipo-Igwuruta road construction project.
