Isaac Fayose has responded to the appointment of his older brother, former Ekiti State Governor Ayo Fayose, as chairman of the Rural Electrification Agency (REA), stating that his brother had already achieved significant success in private enterprise well before taking on the new role.

In a video posted to his Facebook page, Isaac rejected the idea that the appointment was a major political payoff. He emphasized that Ayo was not named a minister or ambassador but rather placed at the helm of a government agency.

He recalled that his brother had previously told him he had no intention of pursuing further political office—such as minister, senator, or director-general—after his tenure as governor ended.
