Sports News: FIFA Unveils 6 Nations Automatically Qualified for 2030 World Cup Amid Centenary Celebrations

According to a report by The Vanguard on Thursday, July 23, 2026, football governing body FIFA has confirmed that six nations have already secured automatic qualification slots for the 2030 FIFA World Cup, following the approval of an unprecedented multi-continent hosting arrangement.

The decision, officially ratified by all 211 FIFA Member Associations during an Extraordinary Congress, awards main hosting duties to Morocco, Portugal, and Spain. Together, these three nations will stage 101 matches.
