Many of the questions we seek answers to have answers that are there in front of us, staring us in the face, but we are often too preoccupied to perceive them, or we simply neglect or even dismiss such answers as being too unimportant to count as answers. When we disregard the things that appear to be the smaller solutions, we usually extend our hunt for solutions when we could have handled the problems immediately and moved on with our lives.>>>CONTINUE FULL READING HERE....CONTINUE READING THE ARTICLE FROM THE SOURCE
In this regard, we can say that our health and desire to live a healthy life is one of these questions addressed to us, but we frequently overlook the fact that the answers are right in front of us in the form of our meals. When we see the answers, we typically think of the ‘large’ solutions in the form of prescriptions and medications, assuming that the smaller solutions are minor enough to solve the questions/challenges provided by our health. How often we are mistaken!
Honey and milk are two of the most valuable treasures that nature has bestowed on humans. While few individuals are aware of the numerous benefits of these two nutrient-dense foods, many more are unaware of their importance in meeting our basic nutritional needs and even our health. The nutritional contents of the two items, on the other hand, would make many other foods green with envy, as they are filled with nutrients that only a few other foods can match.
According to healthline, Honey is composed of 80% natural sugar (mostly fructose and glucose), 18% water, and 2% minerals, vitamins, pollen, and protein. It is fat-free and cholesterol-free, but it is high in phenolic acids and flavonoids, which are natural antioxidants. Milk, on the other hand, is about 87 percent water, 4.9 percent carbohydrate in the form of lactose, 3.4 percent fat, 3.3 percent protein, and contains all of the essential amino acids, vitamins, minerals, and minor biological proteins and enzymes.
Below are four (4) benefits you can derive from these two classic combinations:
1. Improved Bone Health
Milk is a significant factor since it includes calcium, a vital mineral for bone growth and health. Milk is also high in potassium, which helps to keep blood pressure in check. Honey, on the other hand, provides antioxidants that protect the structural components of the bone from free radical damage, which is why combining the two is beneficial to bone health.
2. Improved Lung Health
According to medicalnewstoday, Honey is believed to alleviate inflammation in the bronchial tubes, thus mixing milk and honey is also beneficial (airways within the lungs). Honey’s sweetness encourages the saliva glands to create more saliva, which helps to keep the airways lubricated. As a result, mixing honey with warm milk kills and flushes away bacteria, making it easier to treat respiratory tract infections.
3. Improved Stomach Function
Honey and milk, which both contain antioxidant and antibacterial qualities, are also effective against stomach illnesses. This means they can kill unwanted bacteria in the stomach, preventing infections. They’re also known to help with constipation, gas (farting), and other digestive issues.
4. Sleep Improvement
L-tryptophan, an amino acid contained in milk, has been demonstrated to help people sleep. When you combine this with honey’s natural enzymes, which serve as a mood enhancer, you may be on your way to finding a remedy for your inability to sleep well. As a result, consuming milk and honey encourages the release of serotonin in the brain, which helps the body relax and lowers cortisol (a stress hormone).>>>CONTINUE FULL READING HERE
