Nobody enjoys a phone that hangs because it not only cause inconvenience to the user, but it also makes work to be completed at a slower rate. There are a few reasons why phones hang, and they are as follows.
1. Low RAM: RAM stands for Random Access Memory, and it is a volatile memory unit that stores the file you are currently working on. The performance of your phone is directly proportional to the size of your RAM; thus, a higher RAM is a faster phone, while a lower RAM is a slower phone.
Our phones have an internal storage unit, and storing beyond its capacity will cause our phone to slow down.
SOLUTION: Delete any unnecessary files, videos, or images. Remember to clear your browser cache and uninstall any apps you don’t use on a regular basis.
3. Overheating:
This reason is unique to those who are constantly on their phones. If you use your phone continuously for several hours, it will begin to overheat and slow down.
4. Old operating system / software: Most of us take this reason for granted. Our phones are designed in such a way that you must update the operating system/software on a weekly or monthly basis.
