Rashford is yet to get off the mark and his performances have not been as impressive as the aforementioned duo. Following an underwhelming season last term, where he scored just eight goals and bagged six assists, Rashford is under pressure to recapture the form he showed in 2022-23. If the England man – who has lost his place in the international side in recent months – doesn’t rediscover his best level, his place in the starting line-up will increasingly come into question.

The Premier League will have a pause for the international break before returning in mid-September. United travel to Southampton on September 14, whereas Liverpool host Nottingham Forest on the same day.
