The Blues had several chances to extend their lead, with Noni Madueke and Palmer both testing Palace goalkeeper Dean Henderson.
However, despite their dominance, the Blues failed to capitalize, leaving the door open for Palace to strike back.
Early in the second half, Palace equalized against the run of play when Cheick Doucoure’s deflected shot found Eze at the edge of the box.
Eze then curled a beautiful right-footed shot past Chelsea goalkeeper Robert Sanchez to make it 1-1.
Following the equalizer, the momentum shifted in Palace’s favor, with the visitors coming close to a second goal.
Eze nearly connected with a low cross, and Sanchez narrowly avoided a costly error after fumbling a shot from Daichi Kamada.
In the dying moments, Jackson had a chance to win it for Chelsea, but his shot hit the side netting, and another attempt was saved by Henderson.
Chelsea were left frustrated as time ran out, resulting in a draw that left them ruing missed opportunities and Palace celebrating a hard-earned point.
