Tensions are rising within the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Adamawa State as a House of Representatives aspirant, Hon. Vrati S. Nzonzo, has strongly accused Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri of imposing candidates on the party, warning that such actions could trigger mass defections and lead to the APC’s defeat in the 2027 general elections. Hon. Vrati, who is aspiring to represent the Demsa, Lamurde, and Numan Federal Constituency, described the recently concluded APC primary process as “a sham” and a “Draconian display of tyranny” orchestrated by the governor.
