Speaking in a video shared by Symfoni on Thursday, July 9, 2026, Arabambi claimed that Faduri Joseph and another presidential aspirant each paid ₦35 million to participate in the party’s primary election. He alleged that while one aspirant was refunded, Joseph did not receive his money despite Obi’s promise.
Arabambi said he was familiar with the matter because he was actively involved in the party’s internal affairs at the time the events occurred.
According to him, “I have photographs showing him collecting the man’s telephone number and asking for his account details, but we didn’t know it was going to be an empty promise. He said, ‘Don’t worry, I’m very sorry because PDP did this to me.'”
