Obafemi George, a political scientist, has commended President Bola Tinubu for advancing state police reforms through swift action following the Senate’s constitutional amendment bill.
The president inaugurated a working group to draft the national policing bill, addressing funding, accountability, national standards, human rights safeguards, and coordination.
