The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Adamawa State, under the stewardship of Barrister Idiris Shuaibu, has extended heartfelt birthday wishes to Malam Nuhu Ribadu, Nigeria’s National Security Adviser (NSA) and the party leader in the state, as he marks his 64th birthday.
In a statement released on this special occasion, the APC praised Ribadu for his substantial contributions to nation-building and his commitment to fighting corruption. An internationally recognized figure, Ribadu has made significant strides in his roles as a lawyer, outstanding police officer, and an acclaimed corruption crusader. His enduring legacy, characterized by a relentless fight against corruption, will forever be etched in the memories of Nigerians.

Since assuming his pivotal role in Nigeria’s security architecture, Ribadu has instituted strategies that have yielded significant results in addressing the country’s pressing security challenges. In just over a year and a half in office, he has made marked progress in areas where his predecessors struggled. His initiatives have led to a noticeable reduction in farmer-herder conflicts in the North, enhanced security in the South-South region, and a systematic reduction of unrest in the South-East. Moreover, efforts to combat the scourge of insurgency, banditry, kidnapping, and the activities of Boko Haram in both the North-East and North-Central regions have borne fruit.
The APC in Adamawa State expressed gratitude to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for recognizing Ribadu’s worthiness for this important position. The statement highlighted how Ribadu’s leadership style has rejuvenated hope among party members, fostering an environment conducive to meaningful reconciliation within the APC. His approach has not only strengthened party unity but also ensured that all members feel included and valued, regardless of their levels within the party hierarchy.
