Members of Adada state creation movement made the call in Enugu .

The ongoing move to create an additional state in the Southeast geopolitical zone seems to be facing a fresh threat.

Recently, Members of the zone from the two chambers of the National Assembly moved missions for the creation of additional state.

The reason they advanced is to move the zone from five to six states

Most recent of the calls was that of the House of Representatives member from Imo State Ikenga Ugochinyere.

introducing a bill to create Orlu State while Senator Ned Nwoko and Ndidi Elemelu from.Delta state canvassed that Igbo speaking Areas in Delta state be made the sixth state of the South East

A notion that James UGWU, leader of the Adada state creation kicked against

Mr. Ugwu submits that the creation of Adada state.was first consummated in 1983, and was unanimously endorsed at Igbo assembly in 1998.

He explained that South East was divided into two sub divisions of North and South.

The chairman of Adada State creation is appealing to Igbo Leaders and political office holders in South East to support the call for Adada state creation in the interest of.unity, fairness and Justice.
