This incident marks the second attack on the APC’s campaign team in a short span of less than one week, as attempts to disrupt the party’s campaign rallies in the these areas have intensified by gun shots and physical violence.
Senator Okpebholo has condemned the attacks and assured the public that the perpetrators will be brought to justice.
The APC candidate also called on the relevant security agencies to investigate the incidents and ensure that the culprits are apprehended.
He emphasized that violence has no place in politics and urged all parties to engage in peaceful campaigns.
