He has been vocal in criticising the likes of Mykhailo Mudryk for his tough start to life at Stamford Bridge.

He said: “Calm down. Second game, you know, they just started, you know. We are not going to start thrashing Chelsea because of two pre-season games. I don’t care, you know. They can lose any game.

“You win friendly games and you don’t win any Premier League game, you are going to be thrashed, but I don’t understand you are so extreme right now.

“Take it easy, my man, it’s just a tour, they are working and we are going to judge them after the first game of the Premier League. What they do before, I don’t care.”

Chelsea players adjusting to Enzo Maresca

It has been clear that the Blues have been getting to grips with a new style of play under new manager Enzo Maresca.

This has seen a number of players feature in unfamiliar positions, such as Reece James cropping up in midfield as an inverted full-back.

Malo Gusto has already filled this role too, however it does look as if one full-back in particular will be best suited to doing this.

Marc Cucurella has not yet joined up with the club after winning the European Championships with Spain this summer.
