In addition to sealing the bakery, six other bakeries were sanctioned for poor hygiene standards. The enforcement team, led by Buhari Manzo, has intensified routine inspections across the state to ensure compliance with safety and hygiene regulations. “Bakeries are closely monitored to prevent the use of saccharine or other banned substances as substitutes for regulated ingredients,” Adamu explained.
