Olabode Adeleye Akinbamilowo psc, mnips is one of the newly promoted to the rank of Commissioner in the Nigeria Police Force. Enlisted in the Force in 1992 as a cadet ASP, having graduated from the University of Ife in 1987; now christened OAU. He has served in various positions amongst : Police Public Relations Officer, Akwa Ibom and Personal Assistant to The Commissioner of Police Railway Command and Anambra State Command.
When he was promoted Chief Superintendent of Police in 2006 he deployed as Deputy Marketing Manager, Police Cooperative.
Thereafter he was deployed as Divisional Police Officer in Jibiya & Batagarawa Katsina.
He equally served as Area Commander, Lokoja, Okene & Ife as an Assistant Commissioner of Police.
Until his deserved elevation to the prestigious rank of Commissioner of Police, he served as Deputy Commissioner of Police, Training in the Department of Training and Development Force Headquarters & Deputy
He is the first Commissioner of Police in Idanreland, his home city.
