BREAKING: Woman Caught On CCTV Stealing Customer’s Money At Trade Fair Complex

P.M.EXPRESS reports that the incident happened at Plateau State Plaza at the Trade Fair Complex where her employer, Evans Security Company Limited, deployed her as a security guard.

According to the Police, the suspect, Agude, being a security woman attached to the place from Evans Security Company Limited was caught on CCTV camera dishonestly stealing money paid by a customer and the sum of N14,500.00 was found in her possession belonging to one Euphemia Nimadu.

According to the Police, when she was asked about the missing money initially, she denied any knowledge until she was brought into the office and the CCTV camera recording was played for her to watch herself stealing the money and she was unable to deny any longer.

Thus, she was handed over to the Police at Trade Fair Division. After interrogation, she was subsequently charged before the Ojo Magistrate Court for the alleged offence, which contravened provision provisions of Section 280 and punishable under Section 287, Lagos State Criminal Law 2015.

However, she pleaded not guilty when she was arraigned.

The prosecutor, Inspector Esther Adesulu, asked the Court to give a date for hearing since she pleaded not guilty to enable the Police to prove that she actually committed the alleged offence.

The Presiding Magistrate, Mrs. A.M. Alade, granted her bail in the sum of N50,000 with one surety in like sum, who must show evidence of means of livelihood and tax payment while addresses will be verified by the Court.

The matter was adjourned for mention while the defendant was remanded in custody at the correctional center pending when she will perfect her bail conditions.>>>CONTINUE FULL READING HERE
