Recall that the Super Eagles B team faced their long-time rivals in the first leg of the 2024 African Nations Championship (CHAN) qualifier, held in Accra on Sunday and managed to secure a hard-fought 0-0 draw.

Ogunmodede acknowledged the significance of this outcome, stating that achieving qualification for the prestigious biennial tournament would greatly benefit the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL).
