1. When on diabetes drugs and Insulin Indeed, apple cider vinegar is known to prevent diabetes, but when you are already on diabetes drugs or on insulin, avoid having apple cider vinegar. These medications decrease your blood sugar level and when combined with ACV, your blood sugar might get too low. This can cause hypoglycemia and you may feel dizziness, confusion, and weakness. If hypoglycemia is not treated timely, it may lead to unconsciousness and even seizures.

The same is the case with Insulin. Insulin uses glucose for energy and reduces blood sugar level. When combined with ACV, it further lowers blood sugar levels and hence, is harmful for our health.

Combination of ACV and diabetes drugs can also decrease the content of potassium in blood. This increases the risk of hypokalemia and you may get constipation, skipped heartbeats, fatigue, muscle damage, tingling, palpitations and numbness.

2. When on hypertension drugs

Hypertension medications often include diuretics that help in flushing extra sodium out of the body. These medications are also known as water or fluid pills.
