Fulham announced the signing of Reiss Nelson from Arsenal on a season-long loan. Like his teammates Emile Smith Rowe and Alex Iwobi, Nelson is a product of the highly successful Hale End academy at Arsenal, joining the club at the age of eight.

He made his senior debut in the Gunners’ 2017 Community Shield victory over Chelsea, going on to make 16 appearances across all competitions that season.

The following campaign saw him gain further top-flight experience, this time in Germany with Hoffenheim, where he became the third-youngest player to reach five Bundesliga goals, and also sampled Champions League football.
