According to the Minister of Works, David Umahi, the decision is in line with the Federal Executive Council’s directive to address inherited and new projects delayed due to funding issues. The government will focus on completing other significant road projects, including the Abuja-Kaduna-Zaria-Kano route, the second phase of the Lagos-Ibadan expressway, and the Third Mainland Bridge.
