A compatriot who is an ardent supporter of Dr. Dauda Lawal Dare, Governor of Zamfara State, Mallam Fahad Jakada Na Gamjin Gusau (Alheri ne DL Hadimul Umma), lampooned former Governor Bello Mutawalle for using his party’s youth to peddle fallacies instead of facts regarding the current situation in Zamfara.
According to Fahad, it’s unfortunate that the youth under the umbrella of the Zamfara State All Progressives Congress (APC) Youth League have become bootlickers and stooges of a fallen leader (Bello) of the state.
Fahad exonerated Dauda from the frivolous allegations of abandoning the welfare of Zamfara citizens and fraternizing with some cabal in Abuja to loot the state treasury.
He said their call on the Governor of Zamfara State to emulate the strategies used by his predecessor, Dr. Bello Matawalle, to combat crime and insecurity is laughable and merely a gimmick to turn black into white concerning the insecurity challenges in Zamfara State.

Fahad blasted the group and described them as the unfortunate youth of Zamfara under the scam coordinator of Yahaya Kaura, whose true identity is not known in the history of Zamfara State APC youth supporters.
He said they are some of Mutawalle’s hired media attackers and online miscreant fighters, causing more harm than good with their hate speeches directed against Dauda, who is making the people of Zamfara feel a sigh of relief in terms of the insecurity and economic challenges caused by his predecessor, Mutawalle.

The youth, who are Mutawalle’s loyalists, accused Governor Dauda Lawal of being deeply involved in the banditry issue during a press conference with both conventional and online media organizations, calling on the Governor to remain focused and continue to expose those behind the banditry, including Mutawalle.
Fahad stated that Mutawalle has committed a grave crime under Islamic law and should not hold leadership positions. He urged Nigerians to protest Mutawalle’s removal as Defense Minister and recommended special recognition for Governor Dauda’s courage.

Fahad backed Governor Dauda’s claim that Mutawalle’s administration collaborated with bandits, kidnappers, and cattle rustlers, which is a matter of national interest requiring President Tinubu’s attention. Fahad agreed with Dauda that Mutawalle’s administration mismanaged state funds and handled insecurity poorly.
He challenged Mutawalle to resign if innocent and face scrutiny. Fahad praised Governor Dauda’s leadership, saying, “Dauda Dare is the kind of leader we have in this country… Despite all the machinations and evil maneuvers that Mutawalle and his cohorts are staging against his government, he remains focused and resolute, doing his best to transform the state.”
